  • Sanded to 150 grit and ready to oil. The worktops should be oiled with a suitable oil (e.g. Danish oil) at least 3 times on the surface and 5 times on the end grain. The undersides should be oiled in advance of fitting - You can buy these worktop accessories from us online.
  • For future care the worktops should be monitored and re-oiled when necessary which will increase the life of the worktop - You can tell if your worktop needs re-oiling with a simple test. If you drop some water on the surface and it forms a bead it is sealed. If you drop some water on the surface and it spreads, the worktop needs another coat of oil.
